CALL FOR SLWA ARTISTS – The Bankside Gallery Exhibition –
South London Women Artists is ready to take its virtual showcase to town!
Read on, for details, but let me know ASAP whether you would like to take part or not.
We are proposing a group exhibition at the Bankside Gallery in London in late April-May 2010, www.banksidegallery.com.
This will be a week long show, where everyone can display a piece of work,
We are organising a private view to provide an arena to invite Gallery owners, Art critics, and Art dealers -an opportunity to use the skills and knowledge learned from the Personal, Professional and Development courses!
This is a very exciting project and will be beneficial to us all.
There will be a cost of around £50- £60 per piece exhibited.
For this your get a guaranteed piece in the show. Your work will be professionally hung in a high profile Gallery next to Tate Modern – think of the CV – a private view and wide publicity. We will also benefit from the May bank holiday crowds on Southbank.
We need the majority of our artists to take part to make it work,
I know many of you are interested and have let me know already,To ensure your place and to allow us to commit to a booking with Bankside,
can every SLWA member let me know either way ASAP
If you have questions about the event or the cost get in touch.
Organising a group show of 100 Artists is no easy task,There is a lot to do and help from our members will be needed –do volunteer.

At the risk of repeating myself! I think the Bankside Gallery is a brilliant opportunity and am very keen to exhibit there and assist with work required to get the exhibition up and running.
I am your waiting list. I imagine this means I cannot be included in your show. If I am wrong, I would be very happy to help and exhibit.
I am a new member and think the group show is a great idea – looking forward to meeting some of the other SLWA members and exhibiting some work at Bankside Gallery! I’ll get in touch with Leonie to see how else I might be able to help…
